Pedestrian, 60s, seriously injured in collision involving truck in Wexford
The horror accident happened at approximately 11.35am this morning
A woman in her 60s has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after she was struck by a truck in Co Wexford.
The road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a truck occurred at Paul Quay at approximately 11.35am this morning (November 7).
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene and the woman was taken to University Hospital Waterford, where her injuries are described as 'serious'.

Gardai say that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
In a statement to the Mirror, a garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic incident involving a pedestrian and a truck, at Paul Quay, Wexford, this morning, Thursday 7th November 2024. The incident occurred at approximately 11.35am.
"The female pedestrian (aged in her 60’s) was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for treatment for serious injuries.
"Investigations are ongoing."
