Conor McGregor civil case over alleged sex assault LIVE updates from High Court
Conor McGregor civil case over

Conor McGregor is before Dublin's High Court today on the second day of a civil damages assault case.

Nikita Hand claims she was pinned down in a "vicious and violent" attack by McGregor and allegedly told a doctor that she thought he was going to kill her.

The UFC star is alleged to have pinned down Ms Hand in an alleged sexual assault, telling her : “Now you know what it was like in the Octagon when I went down three times.”

Mr McGregor and his co-defendant, James Lawrence, of Rafter's Road, Drimnagh, who is also accused of assault, deny the allegations, saying what occurred was consensual.

Ms Hand 'kept thinking I was never going to see my daughter again'

Ms Hand: "I just froze and I couldn't move and I couldn't breathe"

"I looked at the bedpost and was thinking about my daughter. I kept thinking I was going to die and I was never going to see my daughter again.

The third choke she said lasted longer and was "more strong." "I just completely thought I was going to die."

Ms Hand: "He let me go and I remember I was saying sorry to him. Saying I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It felt like I'd done something wrong. I kept saying sorry...so he wouldn't hurt me again.

"Then he said that's how he felt when I was in the Octagon and I had to tap myself out three times. I just thought it was such a weird thing to say. I promised him I wouldn't tell anything. I just let him do what he needed to do to survive. My mind was completely gone.

"He was aggressive, pulling my clothes. Dragging out of my clothes.

"I was trying to fight as much as I could. I bit him and he didn't like it, it was like he was just behind me then. He choked me, put his arm around me.
