Man arrested after suspected petrol bombs seized by gardai during Dublin raid
The search was carried out as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal activity in north Dublin
A man has been arrested after several improvised explosive devices were seized during a search of a residential property in Dublin.
As part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal activity in north Dublin, Gardaí attached to Coolock Garda Station carried out a search of home in Balgriffin, Dublin 13, at approximately 10.30am on Monday.
During the search, which saw gardai being assisted by the Armed Support Unit, a number of suspected petrol bombs were recovered.

A man in his 20s was subsequently arrested in connection with the investigation.
The man is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in North Dublin.
Gardaí said that investigations are continuing.
