Dana White pours cold water on rumoured Conor McGregor v Dan Hooker bout
McGregor had claimed that he was scheduled to fight Dan Hooker in February, claims which have been rubbished by both Dana White and Hooker.
Dana White has poured cold water on Conor McGregor's suggestion that he is in line to fight Dan Hooker in early 2025.
McGregor claimed this week that he would return to the UFC in February and would take on New Zealander Hooker in Saudi Arabia.
When asked about McGregor's claims, White expressed interest in the fight but confirmed that the bout was not in the pipeline: “Yeah, obviously, you know that would be a great fight, I like that fight, I did not announce the fight (I’ve not talked to either of them about it),” said White.

The UFC President's comments come in the wake of Hooker stating that he was unavailable to fight in February due to his partner's due date.
"I'm good to go January or March. The missus is due February, so no can do.
"You have to mate (take the month off to be with his wife). I think you'd even turn down the big fella McGregor for that one."
McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since 2021 after breaking his leg in defeat to Dustin Poirier.
A return was scheduled for 2024, but injury ruled him out of a comeback bout with long-time rival Michael Chandler.
