RTE viewers praise 'gentleman' Joe Canning after Late Late Show appearance
Joe Canning stopped by for a chat with Patrick Kielty as he spoke about his upcoming autobiography.
RTE viewers were full of praise for Joe Canning after the hurling legend stopped into the Late Late Show studio on Friday night.
The former Galway star was on to plug his autobiography Joe Canning: My Story and spoke about life on and off the pitch.
Canning hung up the boots for Galway in 2021 after an illustrious career, retiring with five All-Star Awards as well as an All-Ireland title in 2017.

Moving into a new phase of his life, Canning is busy with his multiple businesses and starting a family with his wife Meg in Limerick.
Canning's mother passed away in January 2022 and he spoke about her on the show.
Speaking to Kielty, he said: "She was sick for a long time. Going back to 2015 when she got breast cancer. She was good then until 2020, and we lost her in January 2022, so it's nice to remember her through Josie (Joe's daughter) so she lives on."
And viewers were full of praise for the hurling legend as they took to social media.
