Former boxing star Butterbean has advised Jake Paul to target Mike Tyson 's chin ahead of their controversial showdown next month.

Both men are scheduled to go head-to-head on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas. The pair were supposed to face off earlier this year. However, 'Iron Mike' was forced to pull out after suffering from an inflamed ulcer. The boxing legend was advised to stop training on his doctor's orders, but has recently returned to the gym.

Tyson's last professional contest came back in 2005 when he was beaten by Kevin McBride. He has fought fairly recently, though with his last bout coming in an exhibition showdown with Roy Jones Jr back in 2020. Since making his debut four years ago, Paul has been very active in the ring. 'The Problem Child' knocked out former UFC fighter and BKFC star Mike Perry back in July in his last fight.

Many in the boxing community have slammed the decision to go ahead with the contest. There are a few that think age is just a number and that Tyson is capable of securing an upset. However, many are concerned for his health and that he can get seriously hurt when he fights the young American.

Butterbean, real name Eric Esch, has concerned fans ahead of November's bout after he recently admitted that he was left worried about Tyson's shape after seeing him a few weeks ago. “I saw Mike about three weeks ago, and he looked pregnant,” Butterbean told AL.com. In the same interview, the former professional boxer has told 'The Problem Child' which area to target in order to beat 'Iron Mike.' “I would knock him out. He has no chin," he continued. “The problem with those who have lost to Tyson is they didn’t challenge him.”

Like Tyson, Esch himself is also targeting a return to the ring. In over two years, the American has lost over 200lbs and currently weighs 290lbs. The 58-year-old is confident he'd beat the former heavyweight world champion in a fight. “He’s a bully. His chin would be right there for the taking. I would knock Mike Tyson out,” he said.

While Butterbean has given Paul a huge tip on how to beat the boxing legend, the American has also been vocal about wanting to fight 'The Problem Child.' Earlier this year, Esch took to social media to offer the 27-year-old a £1.5million winner-takes-all scrap. "Hey Jake Paul, would you fight me for $2m [£1.5million]? Winner takes all," he said.

In August, Butterbean went on to dub the showdown between Paul and Tyson a "scam'' in a heated rant at the Georgia Pop and Horror Con. Speaking during a Q&A session, he claimed: "Him and Tyson are never going to fight. That has been a scam from the very beginning just to boost Jake's name - and it has!

"This guy, everybody's talking about him. But he's never going to fight Tyson. They were never planning on fighting each other, because a promoter would never let him fight anyone else in between a fight. Never - not that big a fight. So, it's been a scam from the beginning."
