Amanda Holden has become a household name over the past decade - but she could be in for some competition from her teenage daughter Lexi who has just bagged her very first showbiz job.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 53, shares daughters Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 12, with husband Chris Hughes. The Heart Breakfast radio presenter often shares glimpses of her family life on social media, and her lookalike daughters have grown up in front of the public eye - so it's no wonder they are hoping to follow in her showbiz footsteps.

On Thursday's installment of her breakfast radio slot, proud mum Amanda dropped the bombshell news about Lexi. She confirmed that her teenage daughter is not only walking her first catwalk but also opening the show at London Fashion Week.

Amanda shared that Lexi is “super nervous” and needs to learn to walk in heels in 24 hours, but she doesn't doubt for a second that she will do herself and her family proud in her exciting new venture.

Lexi, who is about to start University after acing her GCSE results despite contracting a deadly illness in the middle of her exams, is going to be the first model to walk the runway for designers Tran Hung. However, Amanda told listeners that Lexi can't walk in heels, so she has been practising non-stop in a bid to secure the perfect strut.

Last month, proud mum Amanda shared a tribute to Lexi while on holiday in Greece. She posted a sweet black and white photo of the teenager as Lexi beamed while being presented with a cake. The family were able to celebrate Lexi's A-Level results after she was hospitalised during her exams.

At the time, Amanda admitted she could finally "breathe a sigh of relief" after Lexi received her results. Lexi marked the occasion with a glass of fizz at Toula's Seaside as Amanda said: "Congratulations to our Lexi, we couldn't be prouder.

"All the grades and first choice uni, what a bloody relief." Lexi was also presented with a cake that read: "OMG I did it!" Amanda looked glam in a satin yellow dress for the meal as she added gold chunky necklaces, sunglasses and a cream clutch bag. She said: "A fantastic evening celebrating our girl Lexi. Thanks for our surprise cake."

Lexi was admitted to hospital with E.coli while in the middle of her A-level exams. The teenager ended up being admitted to a hospital ward for five days after contracting the life-threatening illness as her mum and dad stayed by her bedside. Amanda decided to tell Lexi's story in a bid to help other become aware of both the symptoms and severity of E.coli.

At the time, Amanda shared: "For about three weeks, Lexi had been complaining of bloating and stomach cramps, she was not happy at all and in quite a lot of pain with her tummy."

Due to the fact Lexi was doing her exams, she thought she was probably just suffering from stress but eventually Amanda and Chris took her to the GP who carried out blood tests and tool a stool sample.

They then confirmed that Lexi in fact had a bacterial infection. Amanda was in Spain filming and began "getting calls from various government officials because we had to fill out various forms about what and where she might have eaten, what kind of food we had in the house." They were then informed that Lexi had VTEC E.Coli which is extremely harmful and rarely seen in humans.
