Jon Rahm's enormous net worth,

Jon Rahm will be looking to add to his huge net worth this weekend and become the 2024 LIV Golf individual champion.

The Spanish star sent shockwaves through the world of golf when he jumped ship to the Saudi Arabian-backed league at the end of last year. However, since his defection, Rahm has experienced a major boost in his finances.

The 29-year-old currently leads the season-long standings with one regular event left to play and a showdown with Joaquin Niemann now awaits in Chicago. After a season of near misses, Rahm will now be keen to end his campaign with a £14million payday.

Rahm's decision to move to LIV not only shook the foundations of the PGA Tour but also saw him bag a record-breaking contract. So, from his huge deal with the Saudi-funded league to his career earnings so far, we take a look at just how much the Spanish superstar has in the bank.

What is Jon Rahm's net worth?

The 2023 Masters champion is known as one of the richest golfers on the planet. Shortly after clinching his Masters title, Rahm broke a new PGA Tour single-season official money record picking up over $15million (£12million), finishing just second behind Scottie Scheffler.

Despite having a short career on the PGA Tour, Rahm is still one of the biggest earners in its history having pocketed over $50million (£38million) in prize money alone. He is also on the all-time DP World Tour money list with over $26million (£20million) earned on the European circuit.

However, it all changed when Rahm switched to LIV, which swelled his earnings beyond his wildest dreams. While Rahm has earned up to $79million (£60million) on the golf course alone in his illustrious career, he is also making mega money off it with several sponsorship deals.

The Spaniard signed a lucrative deal with Callaway in 2021 having already worked with TaylorMade and Adidas after turning pro in 2016. Now he is a part-owner of Legion XIII, his LIV Golf team.

He has also endorsed prestigious brands such as TopGolf, VistaJet, Mercedes-Benz and Rolex. While his exact net worth is unknown, it is estimated that it lies around the $100m (£76million) mark, based on his current career earnings.

Rahm's record-breaking LIV Golf deal

While Rahm's choice to head to LIV golf certainly turned heads, there are not many who could turn their nose up at the sums on offer. According to reports, Rahm signed an eye-watering $500million (£386m) deal, which is the biggest contract in LIV Golf history.

The deal was so huge it even surpassed the £160m contract that Phil Mickelson was handed in 2022, which previously held the record. Rahm's LIV contract runs until 2028 and even reportedly includes shares in the Saudi-backed tour.

However, that's not all. Rahm has reported use of one of the Saudi Royal Family's private jets, and a team of 10 personal assistants who provide 24/7 care for the star and his family's every need.

In his first year on the circuit, Rahm has claimed 11 top 10s in 12 starts and remains on-course to top the individual standings. His Legion XIII side is also close to the top in the team rankings.

Excluding his signing on fee, Rahm's finances were boosted by his first event in Mayakoba where he brought in $1,250,000 (£959,000). According to Golf Monthly, Rahm then made $525,000 (£402,000) for finishing solo eighth in Las Vegas, while a solo fifth in Jeddah gave him a $800,000 (£613,000) payday.

Another tied eighth then came in Hong Kong, as Rahm took home $396,071. (£303,000). Various other hefty payouts over the year, such as $833,333 (£638,000) in Miami and $920,000 (£705,000) in Adelaide, saw him rocket his wealth to an astonishing amount.

Overall, the Spanish star is estimated to have earned a stunning $25.5million (£19.5million) in his brief time with LIV. Rahm is now just three points clear of Niemann in the individual standings as he heads into the LIV tournament this weekend.

If he does finish manage to finish ahead of his Chilean rival then he will secure yet another lucrative payday as he looks to close the gap on golf's wealthiest ever players.
