Their split sparked heartbreak among fans who dubbed their romance a "fairytale" - but it looks as though Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are trying to get things back on track.

Molly-Mae shocked the world last month by announcing that they had split in a bombshell statement on Instagram, admitting that she "never imagined our story would end, especially not in this way". Claims of infidelity on Tommy's part emerged soon after, with reports suggesting the 25-year-old boxer had cheated on her during a lads trip in Macedonia with a Danish woman.

Tommy denied cheating on Molly-Mae and the woman in question, Milla Corfixen, denied anything happened between them. "We had a great time but nothing happened. We were talking about Molly-Mae, and talking about Bambi and how beautiful she was. We were just getting to know each other — no flirting," she said.

Meanwhile Molly-Mae has returned to posting on both social media and YouTube after a brief hiatus during the drama. In her first video, she was keen to not delve into the nitty gritty, as she maintains "respect" for Tommy.

So it's unsurprising that the pair - who share daughter Bambi together - are reportedly enjoying secret cosy nights in at Molly-Mae's £4million Cheshire mansion in a bid to rebuild their romance. It comes just a month after the former Love Island star kicked her beau out of the home, with a skip pictured outside.

A source told the Daily Mail that Molly-Mae and Tommy are "getting close" and that it is "very much a reality" that they will get back together. "Molly-Mae and Tommy appear to be finding a way through their issues," they said. "Some close to them are even going as far as to say they are heading for a full-on reconciliation."

They went on to say that the former couple "adore one another", explaining that they were "barely 20" when they met and navigated fame together. "That bond and those times can never be taken from them," the source continued. "They have had to see one another because of Bambi and that has been a good opportunity for them to have begun the process of getting back together. They’re enjoying quiet time away from the limelight."

Molly-Mae and Tommy are said to have been using "some calm" to work through their issues during the dramatic last month.

It comes after Molly-Mae filmed herself at a bridal shop trying on wedding dresses for a white-themed party and was emotional as she spoke of not buying one for real. She admitted it was "a bit weird " as she headed to the shop after calling off her engagement to Tommy.

Molly-Mae had first addressed her split from Tommy - who she met on Love Island in 2019 - in a 36-minute YouTube video last month. "This is real life," she told her fans. "It's very sad and it's very deep. It doesn't feel right for me to come on here to talk about it. I haven't made a plan whatsoever about what I want to say.

"The last two weeks have been very, very real. It's real life, something that we have been going through as privately as we can, but obviously not privately whatsoever because I haven't really been able to get away from it. My coping mechanism for the last couple of weeks is talking to the people that I love and are so close to me and have been so incredible through this time and then coming on here and pushing forward.

"It's just not nice and I feel everything has been blown way out of proportion and it has all got a bit carried away with itself and I think the last thing I want to do is fuel that fire and stir that pot when it doesn't need to be stirred."
