England footballer Declan Rice's partner, Lauren Fryer, has been subjected to a barrage of online abuse, forcing her to remove all photos from her Instagram account.
The footballer helped to secure England's victory against Ireland as team mate Jack Grealish also scored in the opening 26 minutes. They set England up for a 2-0 win in Lee Carsley's first game as interim manager, yet Declan refused to celebrate having won three caps for Ireland in 2018 before switching his allegiance to England.
Away from the pitch, Declan is loved up with the 25 year old mother of his son, Jude, who has been with the England star for eight years and has faced cruel trolling over her appearance. A quick look at Declan's social media reveals no pictures of Lauren either. Here's what we know about the stunning mum-of-one....
Long-term love
The pair met at school and started dating when they were 17, and have been inseparable ever since. The WAG, who hails from Chessington, has supported the footballer throughout his career, from his debut with West Ham to his lucrative transfer to the Emirates.
Despite frequently being seen cheering on Declan from the stands, the footballer has previously confessed that Lauren is envious of his close relationship with Chelsea star Mason Mount - a childhood friend from their time at the west London club's academy. He confessed to The Sun: "My missus is quite worried. I'm genuinely being serious. She's quite worried. Oh she's just always: 'You two... you love him more than you love me'.Honestly. We just get it in the neck all the time. But they need to understand the friendship."
Despite being an item for eight years, Declan and Lauren have chosen to keep their relationship out of the limelight. However, they did let loose during a rare public outing at the Reading Festival in 2021. They were spotted mingling with Oasis legend, Liam Gallagher, after his headline act at the yearly event.
Mum-of-one
Lauren and Declan greeted their son into the world in August 2022. The news broke when Declan flaunted a new tattoo on his arm bearing Jude's name, his birth date August 7 and his star sign, Leo. Prior to this, Lauren's pregnancy had been kept under wraps by the couple. However, fans were overjoyed when they heard the news, showering the proud parents with congratulations on their new family member.
The pair also share a dog - Raffa the pooch - which was a Christmas gift from Declan to Lauren. It's thought that the adorable pup joined their family following a romantic getaway to Paris.
Horrendous trolling
The appalling harassment of Lauren began in December last year when an anonymous account told the England star he "could do better". Declan faced a troll's jibe about having "low standards" for dating his girlfriend, leading the mum-of-one to wipe her Instagram clean of all pictures and photos.
Despite this, she still boasts 64,000 followers and has kept her account public. Tragically, there are no longer any images of Lauren, which prompted Liberty Poole, 24, to step in. The reality TV sensation, famed for her stint on Love Island 's seventh series in 2022 and Love Island All Stars earlier this year, took to her Instagram Stories to comment: "I think she's beautiful this is crazy.What happened to celebrating different body types and embracing how we are all individually made."
Dubbed the 'love of Declan's life'
In a heartfelt response to the online abuse, Declan declared Lauren as the "love of his life", firmly stating he 'doesn't need an upgrade', despite being nastily prodded to do so. Other netizens rallied around Lauren, with many condemning the despicable trolls. It remains uncertain if the mum-of-one will make a comeback on Instagram, even as her partner is set to hopefully grab headlines for all the right reasons with England next week.
Before the big event, Declan treated his partner and Jude to a lavish meal at a posh eatery, a hotspot for football stars over time. The England midfielder was spotted enjoying a relaxed weekend meal with his childhood sweetheart and their son at the swanky Novikov restaurant in Mayfair, London, even taking time to sign autographs for fans outside.
