Garda appeal for help tracing missing Leitrim teen who may have travelled to Cork

Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing teenager who may have travelled to Cork.
15-year-old Alex Byrne Kenna has been missing from Carrick-On-Shannon, Leitrim since Thursday evening, September 5. He may have travelled to Cork.
Alex is described as being five feet eight inches in height, of slim build, with light brown hair and green eyes. It is not known what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information on Alex’s whereabouts to contact authorities.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Alex Byrne Kenna, who is reported missing from Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim since Thursday evening, 5 September”.
They added: “Anyone with any information on Alex’s whereabouts is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station at (071) 965 0510, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
