Helen Flanagan was left in tears as she opened up about her bond with David Haye.
The former Coronation Street star, who rose to prominence as Rosie Webster in the noughties, is on the hunt for love after splitting from her former fiancé Scott Sinclair and signing up for Channel 4 show Celebs Go Dating.
But during a chat with relationship experts Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn on the series, Helen Flanagan spoke about David Haye, who she first met in the I'm A Celebrity jungle in 2022.

In a candid chat, Helen confessed she had fallen for the former professional boxer, and burst into tears as she revealed they had once dated, but she struggled with not being the only woman in his life.
"I'd known him for 10 years," Helen first said in the programme. "We did a reality show together. I remember the first time, seeing him in the jungle, I was like 'wow.' It was quite something – it's really hard for me to talk about [now]."
"He had a girlfriend and an open relationship. I didn't mean to fall in love with him, but I did. We did have this amazing connection together – we were like fire. It was weird – I think he does love his girlfriend and he loves me as well. It just brings me to a part in my life that was quite dark," she continued.
After being quizzed about claims she was in a throuple, she said: "No [it wasn't]. I was in love with him. I wouldn't have enjoyed watching the man I was in love with have sex with another woman, that's not for me."
In another breath, she added that she'd been in contact with Sian as she explained: "I had communication with his girlfriend, but I felt very guilty. I didn't feel nice about it all. It really upsets me because I don't mean to hurt other people but I was just really lonely. I found it really difficult because it just happened. It's not nice on another girl and I should've known better."
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Helen admitted she struggled during the dating process after signing up to the series following the end of her 13-year relationship with footballer Scott Sinclair, with whom she shares three children. The former soap star revealed there were moments throughout filming where she leaned on her co-stars for support, in particular Love Island 's Chris and expert Anna Williamson.
Helen shared: "I felt I had one moment which I struggled with and Anna was amazing for me and Chris – Chris is lovely." Earlier this year, Helen and Chris were seen looking close during filming for the E4 show. The co-stars were spotted laughing and joking together as they took a break from filming.
Many fans suspect Helen and the Love Island star's friendship will blossom into something more during the E4 series. One wrote: "I think Helen and Chris will get together, I said it here first," while another posted: "Helen Flanagan and Chris Taylor look like a good couple, lets hope it happens."
