A new nightclub event exclusively for those aged 35 and over is launching in Dublin next week. ‘Let’s Dance’ will take place weekly at SoHo on D'Olier Street and promises clubbing in comfort and style.

Running every Saturday night from 5.30pm until 10.30pm, attendees can dance the night away and still grab the last bus home.

The night, which starts off with a complimentary glass of bubbly, will be filled with iconic beats from the 80s, 90s and noughties, all spun by Dublin’s legendary DJs and MCs who have been at the heart of the city’s club scene for decades. Special guest performers, dancers and entertainers will keep the vibe going all evening long,

And for those who remember the thrill of the slow set, 'Let's Dance' is bringing it back. It is hoped this will offer a unique chance to meet new people or rekindle old flames, without the pressure of today’s fast-paced dating world.

The venue also boasts a stylish lounge area that provides the perfect retreat from the dance floor and is an ideal spot to catch up with friends, enjoy a drink and soak in the ambiance.

Organisers say the event is dedicated to those who want to relive the glory days of Dublin’s club scene in a venue that feels like home. They said: "‘Let’s Dance’ is more than just a party—it’s a movement aimed at giving the night back to those who’ve watched Dublin’s nightlife evolve, yet often feel out of place in today’s club scene. This over-35s only event is all about creating a space where you can dance the night away surrounded by your peers, in a venue that’s been carefully designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind.

"From the moment you step into SoHo Dublin, you’ll see and feel the difference. With a massive dance floor, an incredible sound system, and state-of-the-art screens bringing the music to life, every detail has been crafted to bring you the ultimate nightclub experience. But most importantly, ‘Let’s Dance’ is about recreating the magic of your younger days in a setting where you’ll feel right at home."

SoHo co-owner Jerry Harrington said: “SoHo has always been about creating memorable nights out. We kept hearing from our over 35s guests that they wanted a night where they could really enjoy themselves without the usual late-teen or early twenties crowd. ‘Let’s Dance’ is our answer—a night dedicated to bringing back the magic of those classic nightclub experiences, with a modern twist, all in a space where they feel truly comfortable.”

‘Let’s Dance’ kicks off next Saturday, August 31 at SoHo Dublin, D'Olier Street. Doors open at 5.30pm, last entry is 8pm and the event wraps up at 10.30pm. Tickets cost €12.50 per person, and include a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival. They are on sale now via Eventbrite HERE.
