Electric Picnic 2025 tickets sell out within two hours as fans rage at Ticketmaster

Tickets for Electric Picnic 2025 are already sold out, with revellers snapping up tickets this morning before the line-up has even been revealed.
Just days after this year’s festival wrapped up, loyalty tickets and general admission tickets for Electric Picnic 2025 went on sale on Wednesday morning on Ticketmaster at 9am.
All General Admission, Family Camping and Campervan and Loyalty tickets for Electric Picnic 2025 have now been snapped up, with next year's festival selling out in under two hours.

However, some people were left deeply frustrated this morning as they claim they had no option to input a loyalty code on the Ticketmaster website, resulting in them having to pay full price - or in some cases miss out on tickets completely.
"Number 4000 in the queue this morning for electric picnic and tried to buy 2 tickets multiple times but kept getting the same error message and now they’re sold out and the loyalty code wouldn’t work either - disaster," wrote one person on X.
"I couldn’t enter my loyalty code for electric picnic, it kept coming up as error. But i had to just buy the tickets as time was running out," said another, while a third added: "Tried to buy EP tickets with my loyalty code. Used the link in the email sent with the loyalty code and still had to pay full price because there was no where to put in the code!"
The Electric Picnic Loyalty Scheme offers festival goers the chance to purchase tickets for next year's festival at a discounted price as a way of thanking them for returning to Electric Picnic.
Organisers previously announced that a new registration was required in order to access loyalty codes for Electric Picnic 2025 – even if they have received a code in the past.
Some fans are now demanding that Ticketmaster offer them a partial refund after they paid full price for a ticket after encountering issues with the company's website this morning when trying to input their loyalty code.
"With the multiple problems relating to the EP loyalty ticket process ('something went wrong', no loyalty code box or the code not working), will you be offering partial refunds to those of us who ended up having to purchase full price tickets despite having codes?" asked one person on X.
Another festival goer raged: "Have been to EP 6 times no loyalty code option ended up losing the ticket thinking I was in wrong one? Will this be rectified, extremely unfair! What is purpose of doing loyalty if you can’t avail."
While a third person said: "@TicketmasterIre and EP are such a joke been going to EP for 5+ years have my tickets in the basket and won’t let me redeem my loyalty code making me pay full price, keep it."
A message on Ticketmaster’s website states that those with a loyalty ticket discount “requires you to follow a special link or input a code in order to unlock the tickets”.
Organisers previously announced that Electric Picnic will return to its original dates next year, with the 2025 festival set to take place from August 29 to 31 next year.
While festival goers will have to wait until next year to find out who will headline the 2025 festival, Electric Picnic promoter Melvin Benn teased that organisers have been early talks with a 'special' act to perform at Stradbally next summer.
“We’re not ready to talk about that but it’ll be good. This particular headliner is very special to me," he said. “I’ve had a long relationship with this particular one and we’d be in a very good place, were we to have them”.
