Jake Paul offered fight by Pointless star Richard Osman
Jake Paul is currently preparing to fight former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and Pointless star Richard Osman has now jokingly challenged the YouTuber to a fight
Richard Osman has offered to fight Jake Paul for £100m, with the Pointless star jokingly suggesting he would win as he is 6ft 7ins.
Paul has enjoyed great success since moving into boxing and has picked up notable wins over former UFC stars Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. And Osman has now jokingly called out the 27-year-old.
While discussing Tommy Fury, who beat Paul by split-decision last year, Osman said on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast: "He didn't make a lot out of the actual boxing. He made a lot out of the pretend boxing with KSI and Jake Paul.
"If I say pretend boxing, maybe Jake Paul will call me out. You know what? One night in Vegas with Jake Paul, just, you know... Hit me for 100 million, I'll do it. Yeah, I'm six foot seven, mate.
"I could take him, no. I think he'd probably... I think Jake Paul would beat me in a fight. I think he would. But, you know, a couple of million. I'd be happy to do that. Yeah."
Paul, though, is fully focused on his upcoming fight against boxing legend Mike Tyson on November 15. The bout was originally set to take place on July 20, but was postponed after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up.
Paul and Tyson recently faced off at a press conference, with the former undisputed heavyweight champion vowing to end the YouTuber's boxing career. "We've got a YouTuber fighting the greatest fighter who ever lived," Tyson said.
"He may have been in the ring with people who have the same intentions, but the actuality, no. As soon as I catch this guy it's going to be totally over, he's going to run."
Paul, who is 10-1 as a professional boxer, has claimed he will knock Tyson out. He said: "This is history; everyone is saying I'm going to get knocked out buy what happens when I put this man to sleep?
"He's saying its going to be my funeral, he's saying it's going to be my wake, he's going to kill Jake Paul... I respect Mike Tyson but we're not friends anymore, I'm knocking this motherf***er out and we'll see who's dead."
