Tipperary and Galway will meet today in a repeat of the league final to determine who gets one step closer to the elusive O'Duffy Cup in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship semi-final.

Tipperary got the better of the Tribeswomen in the league final in their last meeting, despite the victory that surely gives Tipp a boost heading Into the final, it'll mean nothing come 3 PM when the semi-final gets underway. Tipperary are looking to get over the semi-final hump, with the Blue and Gold losing last year at the same stage to Waterford. They've shown their mettle with wins over Waterford, Derry, Antrim, and Kilkenny, topping the group and earning direct passage to Saturday’s semi-final. On Saturday it will be four weeks since their last competitive game.

The Tribeswomen had their fair share of semi-final heartbreaks as they lost to eventual winners Cork in last year’s semi-final. Galway haven't had everything go their way in the championship this season also. Despite wins over Dublin, Down, and Clare, Galway would draw to Wexford and lose to reigning champions Cork. The loss to Cork meant that they had to regroup to face Waterford in the quarter-finals, with Galway overturning The Déise by 7 points to advance to today's semi-final.
