Liverpool begin their pre-season festivities this season with a friendly against Spanish side Real Betis in Pittsburgh tonight.

Arne Slot will take charge of his first game of his Liverpool tenure following Jurgen Klopp stepping down from his post at Anfield following a very successful nine years. Slot previously managed at Feyenoord for the past three years, winning the Eredivisie last year and the Dutch Cup in his final outing for the Rotterdam club.

Liverpool will play a triple header of matches across the Atlantic. It starts with Real Betis tonight, followed by Arsenal and Manchester United next week.

The match will take place at the home of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The match will kick off at 12:30 am tonight.

The game has not been selected for terrestrial TV.

Fans wishing to watch Liverpool vs Real Betis will be able to do so via the club's in-house service, LFCTV. Fans who have a subscription to the service will be able to watch the game live on TV.

Team information

The Reds are still limited on their options as they embark on their United States tour, with 10 players yet to rejoin training and two others unavailable. Ibrahima Konate and Ryan Gravenberch will also not feature tonight but will join The Reds later on.

Diogo Jota only reported to the team hotel in Pittsburgh on Thursday and will therefore not be involved against Real Betis, while Andy Robertson is ruled out due to a “small injury." Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, and Luis Diaz will not return until Liverpool are back on Merseyside.
