Ange Postecoglou will make his return to Japan having managed there before he became the manager of Celtic, which successful spell led to the Australian taking the post at Tottenham last year.
Both sides will be eager to put on a show, with Spurs getting prepped for the new season, as well as Vissel Kobe looking to hold their own against a big team like Tottenham.
