An 11-year-old girl has been left orphaned after her parents and both sisters died in a horror crash that claimed six lives on a rural UK road yesterday.

Four members of a family-of-five died in the collision involving a car and motorbike on the A61 between Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and Wakefield, West Yorkshire, at 3.54pm on Sunday afternoon. They have been named as mum Shannen Morgan and dad Shane Roller as well as two girls, understood to be their daughters Lillie and Rubie.

The tragedy occurred when the Ford Focus the family were travelling in was involved in a collision with a motorbike. The motorcyclist and pillion passenger, a man and woman, were also confirmed dead at the scene.

Heartbreaking tributes are being paid by the family's loved ones. Callum Roller, Shane's brother, said he was "lost for words" in a devastated post, adding his heart was "ripped into a million pieces", Mirror UK reports.
