Drogheda United have made a key signing in their bid to beat the drop - with defender Elicha Ahui returning to the club on-loan from Lincoln City.
Ahui spent the first-half of last season at Weavers Park, making 21 appearances and scoring the winner away to Derry City, before he returned to his parent club and moved on-loan to Ayr United in the Scottish Championship.
There was also a loan spell earlier this year at Peterborough Sports in the National League during the first-half of this year.

Drogheda boss Kevin Doherty hailed his return, saying: “When you know the player really well, it’s an easy decision for me, but we had to work to get him in, and I’m delighted he’s a Drogheda player again.
“He’s been playing in midfield on loan too. I’ve watched the games he’s played, we know what he can do at right-back, but it’s another option for us as well because he’s been excellent there too.
“It’s great to have him back. It’s not going to take him a lot of time to settle in either, because he knows so many of the players.”
Ahui, United’s second summer signing after Douglas James-Taylor joined on loan from Walsall, added: “I’m delighted to be back.
“The manager reached out to me, and as soon as he did, I wanted to come back.
“I’ve had more experience in men’s football in the year away too. It’s about coming in, helping the team as much as I can to move up the table.”
Meanwhile, Galway United have revealed that they failed to agree a contract with left-back Al-Amin Kazeem, and that he has left the club.
The Tribesmen were hoping to nail down the 22-year-old after his loan from Colchester expired at the weekend, as Sunday also marked the end of his time at his parent club.
Despite the offer of a contract, Al-Amin, who played in the 2-0 defeat at Shelbourne last Friday, has opted to look elsewhere.
