Leinster v Toulouse teams, odd

Leinster and Toulouse clash in the 2024 European Champions Cup final as once again French opposition stands between Leo Cullen's side and glory.

The Blues have lost to La Rochelle in each of the last two deciders, but beat Ronan O'Gara's side in this year's group stage before knocking them out of the competition with a 40-13 victory in the quarter-finals. Leinster are narrow favourites for the London clash, but it looks set to be a very close encounter.

Quotes corner

Leinster's Joe McCarthy: "It’s good this season. I’ve been super involved, played all the knock-out games so it definitely means a little bit more, playing the whole way through. Hopefully I get selected to play but yeah, it feels good now that I’m here at this point.

"I feel very lucky to be in a final again because it's not easy to win those or get to that position again. Once we'd lost that, you don't know how long it will be until you get another opportunity. So I feel very lucky to get another chance to go again."
