Two robbery cases this long weekend saw people robbed by suspects on a motorcycle, police said on Tuesday.
On Sunday a 22-year-old delivery driver reported he has been robbed while waiting at a traffic light in Mesa Geitonia. Two young men riding a motorcycle, he said, stopped next to him, grabbed his bag and left.
He said the bag contained a sum of money and his personal documents.
Meanwhile, on Monday a 25-year-old woman reported that while she was walking, she was approached by a motorcycle with two hooded people on board who grabbed her bag and fled.
She received a head injury during the attack, went to Limassol General Hospital and received first aid.
The bag contained a small amount of money, a mobile phone and her credit cards.
