Police in Larnaca are investigating a violent assault that left two residents injured after a group allegedly forced their way into an apartment and attacked the occupants with a knife.
According to initial findings, the incident occurred around 10:40pm on Sunday when several individuals reportedly broke into an apartment and assaulted its five occupants.
Two residents, aged 21 and 29, sustained wounds in multiple areas of their bodies during the attack. They were taken to Larnaca general hospital, where medical staff confirmed that their injuries were inflicted by a sharp object, believed to be a knife. After receiving first aid, both patients have now been discharged.
The Larnaca CID is leading the probe, with authorities working to identify and apprehend the suspects involved.
