Man remanded over Limassol bur

The Limassol district court on Friday issued a six-day remand order for a 23-year-old man arrested in connection with multiple burglary and theft cases.

According to a police statement, the suspect is linked to seven incidents of house burglaries and thefts, and a warrant had been issued for his arrest.

Based on evaluated information, members of the Limassol crime prevention unit located the suspect at around 1.30am on Friday and proceeded with his arrest. During the search, various pieces of jewellery were found in his possession, which were seized as evidence.

The suspect was brought before court on Friday morning, where his six-day detention was ordered.
