Festival of Young Wine

November 8-9, in the courtyards of the Primate's Palace and the surrounding courtyards.

Bratislava continues the long-standing tradition of presenting and tasting young wine, building on the St. Martin's Day celebrations which are popular here in Slovakia and many other parts of Europe. The feast of St. Martin has been associated with the wine tradition since the days of Austria-Hungary.

The event will showcase regional wines and an exciting lineup of activities, such as quizzes, talks on viticulture, and live concerts. The celebrations will extend to multiple locations across the city, including St. George’s Courtyard, the Old Town Hall, and the Apponyi Palace, along with a unique walking tour of the Museum of Viticulture.

Crucial weekend 7

November 9, from 9:00 till 15:00 on Sysľovské fields.

Do you want to do something important as well as sociable? So roll up your sleeves, bring your energy and determination and join other volunteers to plant up to 140 trees and 584 bushes during the Crucial Weekend 7 event.

Not only will apple trees, blackthorns, pears, and currants be planted here, but also a more colourful and bright future for Bratislava, and a safer and better home for unique species of birds such as bustards and peregrine falcons. Spades, wheelbarrows and gloves will be provided to help with the work.

Free registration is required for the event, you can do it here.

This year will bring to one stage some of the most famous folklore folk groups of Slovakia, such as DFS Kremienok, FS Karpaty, FS Poľana and Čarovné ostrohy.

One of the attractions of the festival will be the world-renowned exhibition "Throne" by Pavel Surový, a Slovak graphic designer and fashion photographer working in Serbia. After successes in Paris, Belgrade and other cities, he is coming to Bratislava for the first time.

However, the program is even more varied - you can also expect musical performances, creative workshops and the sale of traditional products.

Don't forget to register for your free tickets for the live performances.
