Slovakia could be the backdrop for a monumental music event on July 12, 2025, with American rapper Travis Scott reportedly scheduled to perform at Žilina Airport, northern Slovakia, potentially drawing a crowd of 80,000 fans.

However, questions about the event’s legitimacy have already begun to surface, reports TV Markíza.

Despite Scott’s concerts typically selling out within minutes, tickets for this Slovak event were available for an entire day, ranging from €110 to €500. Moreover, the promotional website contained several typographical errors, raising questions about its credibility.

Scott’s shows are infamously dangerous, turning into fights among fans.

The event is organised by a private company, Germania Holding FF, which appears to be a relatively new player in the concert promotion industry. Marek Fischer, representing the company, confirmed via email that the airport has been booked and that advertising efforts commenced on the same day. “This will be the largest concert Slovakia has ever seen,” Fischer asserted, adding that while the company has not previously organised concerts, it intends to pursue this venture further.

However, Germania Holding FF’s website later said that ticket sales were temporarily suspended, with the company working to resolve issues. The logo of VÚB Bank, one of the largest banks in Slovakia, also appeared on the website. VÚB Bank, however, distanced itself from the organisers, clarifying that it had no marketing partnership with them and was taking legal steps to protect its reputation.

Adding to the uncertainty, Scott’s official show schedule does not list the Slovak concert.

Ronald Wilczek, from the airport management, indicated that discussions regarding the rental of Žilina Airport are ongoing, with contractual details to be negotiated next week.

Moreover, the well-established ticketing platform predpredaj.sk issued a warning on social media about the similarly named website, predpredaj.eu, emphasising that it had no affiliation with the purported concert and cautioning against purchasing tickets from unverified sources.
