A small fire broke out at one of the corners of the Junior College building in Msida on Sunday morning.
Firefighters were hosing down the area of the small blaze after being notified about it at 10.15am, where flames could be seen on the building of the post-secondary school.
Two fire-fighting vehicles of the Civil Protection Department were on the scene. No one appeared to have been injured, and this was confirmed by the University of Malta later in the day.
The University said that lectures will continue as scheduled when students return to their classrooms tomorrow.
