A woman was grievously injured in a traffic accident.

On Sunday, at around 10:30 a.m., the Police were informed of a traffic accident on Ġuzè Duca Street, Ħal Qormi.

The Police immediately went to the scene, and from preliminary investigations, it emerged that a collision had occurred between a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle driven by a 21-year-old woman from Qrendi and a Kia Picanto driven by a 30-year-old woman from Ħaż-Żebbuġ.

The 21-year-old woman received assistance from a medical team and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where she was certified as having sustained grievous injuries.

The Police are continuing their investigations.
