A biker was seriously injured on Friday afternoon following an accident in Siggiewi, the police said.

The accident took place in Triq it-Tigrija at 4pm.

The biker, a 24-year-old man of Polish nationality, and a resident in Birkirkara, lost control of the Daelim bike he was riding and crashed.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
