Every October a celebration of classic vehicles takes place over a four day period organised by Malta Classic, Marcus Harrison, one of the event organisers said.

This year proceedings will start on Thursday 10th October by way of a hillclimb at Mtahleb, "a timed and highly skilled uphill sprint which is a test of both car and driver, followed on the Friday with the Style and elegance, held at Marina di Valletta Pieta."

"This is a celebration of some of the most beautiful cars on the Island and participants are encouraged to dress elegantly, or in period dress corresponding to the age of their vehicle. International celebrities and journalists will be in attendance and the day is hosted by Colin Fitz."

The style and elegance is free for the public to attend and enjoy.

On Saturday the racing competition begins. Qualifying is the order of the day in preparation for the main event on Sunday, where racing takes place on the roads surrounding the historic city of Mdina, Harrison said.

Paddock and grandstand tickets are available online or at the gates on the day.
