A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic accident in Msida on Tuesday afternoon, the police said Wednesday.

The accident took place at 6pm on the Regional Road.

It involved a Piaggio Vespa and a Peugeot Tweet driven by a 25-year-old man of St Julian’s.

The biker, a 64-year-old man of Swieqi, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
