Suspect arrested over Bergamo security-guard homicide
Alleged killer detained while trying to get to Switzerland
A 28-year-old man from Togo was
detained early on Saturday at the Italian-Swiss border on
suspicion of having stabbed to death Mamadi Tunkara, a security
guard at a Carrefuour supermarket, in the centre of Bergamo on
Friday.
The suspect is said to be a homeless man who investigators think
was attempting to flee to Switzerland.
