Suspects 'attacked foreign minors' near Caserta
Caserta police have arrested four
minors for allegedly attacking foreign peers, without apparent
motive, and for the attempted murder of one of their victims,
who is of Egyptian origin, investigative sources said on
Thursday.
The four teens arrested at the order of a preliminary
investigations judge (GIP) at the juvenile court of Naples
allegedly stabbed the Egyptian boy 12 times, causing grave
injuries to one of his lungs and to his heart, the sources said.
The attempted murder occurred in October in the area of
Villaggio Coppola in Castel Volturno north of Naples, which has
a big immigrant population, the sources said.
The Egyptian teen was taken to the local hospital in critical
condition and survived after emergency surgery.
