Pompeii sets daily visitor limit of 20,000
And launches crackdown on ticket touts
Pompeii has set a daily visitor limit
of 20,000, director Gabriel Zuchtriegel said Friday.
"Pompeii can't be associated with mass tourism but must aim to
be quality tourism," he said.
Zuchtriegel, who has been head of the ancient Roman city since
February 2021, also launched a crackdown ticket touts.
