Teen who killed man for headphones expresses remorse
31-year-old stabbed to death near Milan last week
Daniele Rezza, the 19-year-old man
who has confessed to stabbing a man near Milan last week in
order to steal his wireless headphones, has expressed remorse,
his lawyer said on Monday.
Lawyer Maurizio Ferrari, who also announced that he was stepping
down as Rezza,'s attorney for personal reasons, quoted the
defendant as saying "I have ruined two families" after admitting
to the homicide during questioning on Saturday.
The victim, killed in Rozzano, near Milan, on the night between
Thursday and Friday with a stab wound to the chest, was Manuel
Mastrapasqua, a 31-year-old warehouse worker.
After leaving Milan's San Vittore, Ferrari said Rezza explained
in detail what happened during an hour and a half of
questioning, but "did not give any reason for having the sudden
idea of robbing the 31-year-old".
