    "We signed with ICE a very important accord that comes a few months before the start of this great global appointment," said the diplomat, "where Italy presents itself with an exceptional pavilion designed by Mario Cucinella and about which, in two days' time here in Tokyo, we will recount the contents that are linked both to our culture and also to our history, our high tech, our research and innovation.
    "That is the essence of the message and the mission in Japan," he added to ANSA, "to make Italian innovation known to a people and to an entire region.".
