Tennis: Berrettini wins his second ATP title in two weeks
Italian beats Hugo Gaston 7-5, 6-3 in Kitzbuhel final
Italy's Matteo Berrettini won his
second Tour title in two weeks on Saturday, beating Frenchman
Hugo Gaston 7-5, 6-3 in the final of the ATP 250 tournament in
Kitzbuhel.
The Roman also won the final on the ATP 250 in Gstaad last
Sunday in another clay-court event.
Saturday's is the 28-year-old's 10th career trophy and his third
of 2024 as he also triumphed in Marrakesh in April.
The former World Number Six and the 2021 finalist at Wimbledon
is back on song this season after two years dogged by injuries.
In March he was outside the Top 150 in the ATP men's singles
ranking.
