Leicester v Ulster, Connacht v

Ulster and Connacht are both in action in Europe this evening as the competition rumbles on.

It has been a mixed season for both sides and they will be desperate for wins as they look to ensure progression to the next round.

With the top four of each pool progressing, Ulster currently lie in fifth place in Group One. A loss ends their European campaign while a win gives them a fighting chance going into the final gameday.

It hasn't been the easiest start to life for Richie Murphy with the side also sitting mid-table in the URC.

Their game takes place at Mattioli Woods Welford Park Stadium with kick-off set for 8 pm. The game will be broadcast live on Premier Sports 2.

Connacht are also in action as they take on Lyon in the Champions Cup. They will be without star man Mack Hansen following his recent ban but know a big win will see them take a commanding position in Pool One.

Winning both their games thus far, opponents Lyon are also undefeated up to this point.

The game takes place at Dexcom Stadium with kick-off set for 8 pm. It will be broadcast live on Premier Sports One.

We will have live score updates of both games here on the Irish Mirror.

Connacht: Santiago Cordero, Chay Mullins, Piers O’Conor, Bundee Aki, Shane Jennings; Josh Ioane, Ben Murphy; Peter Dooley, Dave Heffernan, Finlay Bealham, Oisín Dowling, Joe Joyce, Cian Prendergast (capt), Shamus Hurley-Langton, Sean Jansen.

Replacements: Dylan Tierney-Martin, Jordan Duggan, Jack Aungier, Josh Murphy, Paul Boyle, Caolin Blade, Cathal Forde, David Hawkshaw.

Lyon slot a penalty to close the gap to four.

Leicester 0-3 Ulster

Nice play from Ulster to force a knock on and get inside Leicester territory. Iain Henderson looks sharp with his passing and they are finding gaps but Leicester snuff out any real attack here before eventually winning the ball back. Leicester then cough up a penalty for not releasing.

Doak slots the points.

TRY! Connacht 7-0 Lyon

Connacht have been pinned in their own half for much of this but Cian Prendergast intercepts and passes it off for Ben Murphy who managed to go the full way for the try.

Hello and welcome

Hello, and welcome to live coverage for both Ulster and Connacht's games tonight in Europe.

Ulster's European future is hanging by the balance and are in must-win territory as they take on Leicester. It will be far from an easy task for Richie Murphy's side who have lost both their European ties this year. Such is the nature of the tournament however, one win could change things around.

Their game kicks off at 8 pm and is available to watch on Premier Sports Two.

Connacht are also in action as they take on Lyon at the Dexcom Stadium. That game also kicks off at 8 pm with the game available to watch on Premier Sports 1.

We will have all the live updates here on the Irish Mirror.
