Strasbourg tram crash: Major incident declared after dozens injured in head-on smash
Around 30 people have been injured after two trams collided in Strasbourg, France earlier today.
Dozens of people have been injured after two trams crashed at a busy station in France.
A major incident has been declared following the head-on collision that happened at Strasbourg station earlier today.
Emergency services, including ambulances, fire crew and police, are currently at the scene.
A shock video taken from the scene shows the aftermath of the coming together of the vehicles.

An alarm can be heard blaring as some people are laid on the ground, possibly injured from the collision.
Initial estimates suggest around 30 people have been injured. It is believed one of the trams was accidentally put onto a track where another was idle in the major station.
Bas-Rhin fire and rescue service said on X: "Tram accident at the Gare Centrale stop at Strasbourg. Numerous resources mobilized. Avoid the areas of Place des Halles, Gare, Boulevard du Président Wilson and facilitate access for emergency services.”
City councillor Pierre Jakubowicz said he was thinking of those injurfed in the accident. He added: "Major tram collision at Strasbourg station. Support and recognition for the emergency services mobilized and all my thoughts for the injured."
