Limerick hurler Dan Morrissey got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Yvonne Maher over the festive period.
The happy couple spent time in Australia over Christmas and enjoyed glorious sunshine as they took a well deserved break down under.
Taking to social media, Morrissey and Maher shared snaps of their trip to Australia, with Yvonne showing off her new engagement ring in one picture which shows a beaming Morrissey standing in front of the sea.

The comments under the post were full of friends, family and fans wishing the couple all the best for their lives ahead together.
The couple have been together for a number of years now, and Yvonne has been by Dan's side throughout the highs and lows (Mainly highs) of his spectacular hurling career.
Morrissey will be back in the green of Limerick in the coming months as the Treaty aim to regain their All-Ireland title.
