Strictly's Vogue Williams gives five-word update on marriage after being 'so miserable'
Vogue Williams, a contestant on this year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special, has given an update on her marriage after admitting that she has been feeling 'so miserable'
Strictly Come Dancing star Vogue Williams has given a five-word update on her marriage with Spencer Matthews as she explains why she has been "so miserable".
The couple recently gave their podcast listeners an insight into the current goings-on in their marriage as Vogue explained how a recent illness has caused disruption: "I think our relationship is down the swanny, everything's down the swanny at the moment, because I've just been so crap."
Vogue, who will star in the Strictly Christmas special, added: "Like, I literally said to Spen the other day 'you can go out tonight if you want' like I don't expect you to sit with me because I'm just so miserable."
"You certainly have undertones of misery to you at the minute and like sometimes it's the main tune," Spencer replied.
Despite his minor complaint of his wife's sickness induced 'misery' of late, her husband said that he has been eager to care for the flu stricken Vogue: "I don't expect a pat on the back for this, I don't expect a favour in return, nothing. But, I have been looking after you, making you lots of meals, looking after you, which is absolutely fine."
However, Spencer described one part of her illness that was of particular annoyance: "We get into bed last night, Vogue leans over and goes 'so tomorrow when you make my cheese on toast, will you just like cover all of the toast in cheese?"
Taking a frustrated tone, he added: "This is on the back of her saying can she only have one slice per piece of toast."
After getting engaged in January 2018 Spencer and Vogue would go on to tie the knot later that year. Since then the couple have had three children together, born in 2018, 2020 and 2022.
Having now recovered from her illness we are set to see Vogue try her luck at ballroom dancing this Christmas as she competes for the top prize in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.
The podcaster is set to take on the likes Josh Widdicombe, Tayce, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Tamzin Outhwaite and Billy Monger in the show set to air today on BBC One.
