RTE star Laura Fox says keen fans sending her 'inappropriate messages' will never stop
'I get weird stuff on Instagram,' she says.
2FM star Laura Fox has said people sending her inappropriate messages "will never stop" as she opens up about feeling at ease taking over from Jennifer Zamparelli.
The Galway native replaced Jen who quit the station after 10 years earlier this summer.
Laura said while the response to her taking over the coveted slot has been largely positive, she still gets weird messages sent to her on Instagram.

The Ireland’s Fittest Family host told us: “I get weird stuff on Instagram. I don't think it will ever stop. 99 percent is amazing but just that one percent. Everyone has stuff going on with their lives, but then you have the one percent who dislike you for no reason, but you can't manage that."
Laura said she is having the “time of my life” hosting the mid-morning show – and doesn’t get caught up with ratings.
"I can't get caught up. I'm having the time of my life. I was really welcomed by 2FM because I've been on 2FM for so long. For me the easiest part was when I finally took over the reins, Jen had come on air with me on the show but also on top of that, the listeners have supported me from day dot and I feel like they are my friends and we've done this together.”
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant also told us why she and her fiancée Brian Moran have put off their wedding plans for two days after getting engaged earlier this year.
“We had to put it out by two years because I didn’t want to put us under pressure financially and mentally. I wanted us to enjoy it. We're trying to focus on getting a mortgage. That is top priority for us.
"Whether we will be able to buy a house or not? I don't know. We have the venue booked for two years’ time, we've told all our friends and family this is the date and time, so I have plenty of time,” she added.
