I'm A Celebrity was back on our screens on Thursday night and it saw two new campmates arrive - Reverend Richard Coles and Maura Higgins - and viewers are already obsessed with the Love Island star
I'm A Celebrity has turned up the temperature with two fresh faces joining show in Thursday night's episode (November 21).
The audience saw Reverend Richard Coles and Love Island legend Maura Higgins make their grand entrance on the ITV1 spectacle, following much buzz that they would take part.
Off in their own plush campsite, the duo are bunking away from the initial ten celebs, enjoying a life of opulence complete with a double bed, mini fridge, a luxurious bath and heaps of nibbles.
But there's a twist: they have been tasked with a secret assignment and need to convince their fellow castmates they're living in squalid conditions. If successful, they'll win everyone a feast.
They've already tricked Melvin Odoom, having a laid-back moment in one contest while he got bombarded with offal, reports OK!.
Viewers are falling head over heels for the show's latecomers, especially for Maura. Rushing to Instagram to express their delight, one fan posted: "I'm loving Maura, she has a fun, bubbly personality and I don't even watch Love Island."
Another follower declared: "I don't think I have laughed as much at this year's I'm A Celebrity, Maura and Richard were brilliant!" While someone else added: "I have never laughed so much in my life, poor Melvin, I can't wait until they find out that Maura and Richard were living in luxury the whole time."
One fan couldn't contain their excitement, exclaiming: "This is one of the best episodes in history, this episode was brilliant."
Another penned: "Maura is too funny, she's going to win it," as another chimed in: "Whoever is responsible for casting Maura Higgins, I hope all your wildest dreams come true - iconic!".
Maura first grabbed the spotlight on Love Island's fifth series in 2019, making a splash all the way to the final with her then-beau Curtis Pritchard. She didn't stop there; last year saw her take on a new role as a social host for the US version of Love Island.
And this year, she's upped her game even further by landing the gig as host of Love Island USA: Aftersun, where she gets the scoop from all the ousted islanders.
