ITV I'm A Celebrity Maura Higgins' dating history including Chris Hemsworth's stunt double
Maura Higgins is set to enter the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp alongside Reverend Richard Coles, but she could be in for an awkward reunion
Maura Higgins is gearing up to join the I'm A Celebrity camp in tonight's episode (Thursday 21 December), alongside fellow newcomer Reverend Richard Coles.
However, her entrance could potentially stir up some drama as she reportedly dated Shane McGuigan, the son of Barry McGuigan, back in 2018.
The pair are believed to have hit it off at a David Haye vs Tony Bellew rematch where Maura was working as a ring girl and Shane was providing commentary. Their relationship reportedly lasted for a year before they called it quits due to the long-distance between them, with Maura residing in Ireland and Shane in London.
Since making a splash on Love Island in 2019, Maura has been linked to several high-profile men.
She made it to the final of the show with ex Curtis Pritchard, but their romance fizzled out just eight months later. In March 2020, she announced their split on Instagram, stating: "Curtis and I have made the decision to separate."
"We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship."
"There is no easy way to get through a break-up and no bad feeling on either side. We tried to make it work but it wasn't to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future."
As 2020 drew to a close, Maura ignited a romance with fellow Love Island alum Chris Taylor. Though sharing time on the island, there wasn't a spark then as she was coupled up with Curtis, reports OK!.
The couple went Instagram official, captivating their followers with a snapshot that showcased them lovingly staring into each other's eyes. Yet by May 2021, they had called it quits, closing the chapter just six months after it began.
Later in the year, sparks flew between Maura and Giovanni Pernice of Strictly Come Dancing fame, following intense rumours about their connection. In July 2021, they sealed the deal with a beachside photo which Maura teasingly captioned "I'm yours", punctuated with a red heart.
In May 2023, she was linked with Chris Hemsworth's stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton, but the duo chose a discreet approach to their liaison. Come August 2023, however, they broke cover on Instagram with images from an intimate dinner during Maura's time in Fiji for Love Island USA, though they've since separated this year.
Her latest linking has been with Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks as the pair have been pictured in cosy embraces on a number of occasions but they have insisted they're just friends. Maura announced before entering the jungle that she was currently single.
