Conor McGregor deletes sick social media joke after Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight
Conor McGregor joked that Jake Paul would now look to fight Prichard Colon - who is paralysed after being in a coma - before deleting his social media post amid huge criticism
Conor McGregor has deleted a sick social media post whereby he joked that Jake Paul will look to fight Prichard Colon - who is now paralysed.
McGregor has since deleted his post, which was viewed by huge numbers, many of whom went back at the UFC fighter. It comes after Paul extended his impressive record in the ring to 11-1 by seeing off Mike Tyson, whom he beat on points.
The YouTuber turned boxer has copped criticism in the past for the opponents he chooses to fights. Paul is yet to fight an elite boxer or MMA athlete in their prime, with many of them taking him on once their best days are beyond them. With Tyson it was a similar story and during the main event, many in the crowd in Dallas voted with their feet and left the arena.

Based on that criticism, McGregor joked that Colon will be the next man in his radar. He said on social media: "They are eyeing Prichard Colon for next opponent."
Colon is paralysed, having suffered a brain haemorrhage after his fight with Terrel Williams in 2015. The Puerto Rican was placed into a coma for 221 days, after which he was moved from the hospital and placed in his mother's home in Orlando, Florida.
Paul's victory over Tyson came after eight rounds, with the youngster getting the nod on points. He had vowed to knockout out the former heavyweight, who is 31 years older, but failed to do so and has hit back at those criticising him on social media.
He said: "I tried to give the best fight I possibly could, but when someone's just surviving in the ring, basically it's hard to make it exciting. So I couldn't really get him to engage me or slip shots and do something super cool or whatever, but I don't care about what people have to say. They're always going to have something to say and that it is what it is."
Paul added: "People just love to hate me. I'm easy to hate and I intentionally say things to make people hate me. I play the heel, I feed into that, and that's just what I like to do and that's what entertainment is. And at the end of the day, I started as a 17-year-old in Los Angeles in the entertainment business.
"But I've been in this sport for four and a half years and have been so active doing every event, taking any fight possible. So if people want to see more or this challenge or fight this person, whatever it is, my response to them is just give him a couple more months.
"I'm going to accomplish more things in just a matter of months and I plan on doing everything in this sport that there is to be done."
