Paul's bout with heavyweight legend Tyson, who is 31 years older than him, has been ridiculed by many within boxing, but the 27-year-old has defended the event, which is expected to be attended by around 70,000 people.
"Biggest live gate in US boxing history outside of Las Vegas," claimed Paul. "Numbers don't lie so people want to see this and that's an amazing accomplishment, credit to Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, Mike and everyone on the card as well.
"We all did this together and this is a statement that we had the biggest live gate outside of Vegas in US boxing history."
Taylor said earlier this week that she is ready for "all out war" on Friday night, as is her Puerto Rican opponent.
"The first fight with Amanda was obviously epic, I know the second fight is going to be even more epic so I can't wait," said Taylor. "There's not going to be a lot of feeling out in the second fight, we know each other so well now we spent ten rounds together so we're just going to go straight into an all out war again on Friday night.
"The last time it was fight of the year and this time I can't expect anything less."
Serrano added: "I hope it's going to be a fight. Katie's a warrior. She might start off boxing but once I hit her, I know she's going to come to fight. That's who Katie is. It's going to be a war. The fans are going to be the winners come Friday night."
