Prince William crowned world's sexiest bald man, beating Hollywood heartthrob again
Prince William has been crowned the sexiest bald man of the year for the second time in a row, after there were more than 16,000 internet searches for him topless
The Prince of Wales has seen off competition from a huge Hollywood star to claim the top spot of the sexiest bald man alive.
Prince William, 42, stole the crown for the second year in a row after a study based on search traffic and physical traits listed the top 10 bald men of the year. The ranking, which was compiled by search marketing agency Reboot, checked internet searches to see how many people were looking for risqué pictures of smooth-headed celebrities.
"Bald men have stolen the hearts of millions of people around the world, from Stanley Tucci to Zinedine Zidane to John Travolta," researchers said. "We've conducted scientific research and crunched the numbers to officially crown the Sexiest Bald Man for 2024." William outpaced all of his peers - including Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

"The heir apparent to the British throne was considered a heartthrob in his younger years, but if our study is anything to go by, he still has sex appeal today," study authors said. "With 16,800 annual searches for 'Prince William' followed by 'shirtless' or 'naked' on Google, it's clear the public agrees."
The study analysed their height, net worth and how closely their visage aligns with the mathematical "golden ratio" - which supposedly shows the "ideal" proportions used in famous pieces of art. They also used another strange metric in their rankings - the "shine factor" - to determine the radiance of each contender's scalp.
The research continued by checking the average frequency of their voice, checking to see how close it is to the supposed ideal of 96hz - which is a few hertz below the worldwide male average. William took the top spot, followed by Johnson in second place and O'Neal in third. Danny DeVito, Stanley Tucci and Vin Diesel also made the list.
"The Prince of Wales' smooth, shiny scalp earns him 74 per cent for luminance, while his face also scores an equally impressive 72 per cent on the golden ratio. Let's not forget his vocal charm, scoring 9.91 out of 10 for vocal attractiveness — just shy of the top spot, which is held by none other than Shaquille O'Neal," researchers added.

William has been sporting a new look recently after debuting his rugged beard in August, and it's received a lot of praise - but not by his daughter, Princess Charlotte. The prince revealed this week that his recent change-up with his facial hair reduced his nine-year-old daughter to "floods of tears".
During a four-day visit to South Africa, William lightheartedly shared he had upset Charlotte so much with his beard that he was forced to take drastic action and shave it off. He said: "Well, Charlotte didn't like it the first time. I got floods of tears, so I had to shave it off. And then it grew back. I convinced her it was going to be OK!"
