GAA club fixtures on TV this weekend as RTE, TG4 and Clubber to show games
The provincial championships throw up some big ties in Munster hurling, Leinster football and Ulster football, with six County Finals also down for decision
RTE and TG4 have three big GAA offerings this weekend as the provincial championships throw-in.
First up is the Ulster preliminary round tie between Errigan Ciaran and St. Eunan’s Letterkenny, with coverage starting at 7pm on RTE 2 on Saturday evening.
Errigal - with Peter Harte and the Canavan brothers - are the only Tyrone team ever to win Ulster (1993 and 2002) and will look to bridge a 22 year gap, while only two Donegal sides have ever won the title: St. Joseph's (1975) Gaoth Dobhair (2018).
The following day (coverage begins at 1.30pm) TG4 have the Wexford senior hurling final meeting of St. Martin’s and St. Anne’s Rathangan.

St. Martin's are going for a fifth title and a first since 2019, while St. Anne's have two, with their last coming back in 2000.
The sceond part of Sunday's TG4 double header is the Munster hurling quarter-final, where Doon host Ballygunner with a 4pm throw-in.
All eyes will be on the Limerick side to see how they have regrouped after landing a first ever county title last weekend, defeating Na Piarsaigh in the decider.
Ballygunner - the 2022 All-Ireland champions - are going for a Munster four-in-a-row.
Darragh O’Sullivan’s side have been sitting idle for nine weeks after a 2-28 to 2-10 Waterford decider win over Abbeyside-Ballinacourty back on September 1.
This again highlights the scheduling issues when it comes to co-ordinating the timelines for provincial championships with Doon up against it here.
Clubber have a number of big provincial games including three Leinster football ties on Sunday.
They are St. Loman’s (Westmeath) versus Dunshaughlin (Meath) at 1.30pm, Ardee St.Mary’s (Louth) against Abbeylara (Longford) at 1.45pm and Portarlington (Laois) v Tinahely (Wicklow) at 2.30pm.
Clubber have 22 games, including 12 from all grades of the Leinster club championship, with the other games from Munster (4), Kilkenny (3), Kerry (2) and Tipperary (1).
There are two other County Hurling Finals taking place, which aren't televised.
The refixed Westmeath decider between Lough Lene Gaels and Castletown Geogheghan, which was called off 20 minutes into the game, is set for tomorrow (Saturday, November 3, 2pm) at TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar.
In Kildare, Naas are going for six-in-a-row and a 12th title in all against Maynooth at Cedral St. Conleth’s Park Newbridge on Sunday (2pm). Maynooth have six titles, but their most recent win was back in 1939.
There are also three County Football Finals down for decision this weekend.
In Fermanagh it’s the Enniskillen Gaels against Erne Gaels replay on Saturday evening (5pm) at Brewster Park.
In Sligo, Coolera Strandhill face St. Molaise Gaels at Markievicz Park (1.30pm) on Sunday in another replay, while in Limerick, Adare meet Father Casey’s at Mick Neville Park on Sunday (4pm).
