Strictly's Paul Merson makes savage remark as he exits show after tense dance-off
Strictly Come Dancing viewers were in stitches after Paul Merson made a savage remark before he and Karen Hauer were booted off the BBC show
Strictly Come Dancing said goodbye to their fourth celebrity in a nail-biting dance-off on Sunday's show. JB Gill and Amy Dowden found themselves dancing again alongside Paul Merson and Karen Hauer after they ended up in the bottom two.
The four judges - Anton du Beke, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse - were asked to decide who they wanted to keep in the competition, with all of them choosing JB and Amy.
Consequently, it was time for Paul and Karen to say their goodbyes to the Strictly dance floor - but not before Paul had one last jibe at his beloved Arsenal's rival team Tottenham before he left the dance floor for good, reports the Mirror.

When quizzed about his experience on the show by host Tess Daly, Paul said: "It's been really good. For anybody I talk to, I would say you've got to go on this show. It's amazing - everybody," before he humorously added: "There's a Tottenham fan over there called Lincoln and even he's nice!"
Heaping praise on his professional dance partner Karen, he continued: "It's been amazing, honestly, amazing. I loved every minute of it, I've had a great teacher. She's been amazing, absolutely amazing and I couldn't wish for a better coach. I've loved every minute of it. I can dance now - I've won because I can dance, I couldn't dance before and I can half dance now. It's a bonus, absolute bonus."
Karen was full of praise for her dance partner Paul, highlighting his journey on Strictly as a testament to real progress. She said: "Absolutely, you've been a joy. I've never giggled this much.
"My abs are really tight now. I am so proud of you. Every week you have showed up, you have improved. You're what Strictly is about and I want to thank you for bringing such joy and just showing everyone that it is possible with a little bit of work and lots of giggles."
Adding a hint of excitement for the upcoming show, Strictly Come Dancing is all set to bring a Halloween extravaganza next week, featuring the 11 remaining celebrities in some spookily spectacular outfits dancing to iconic Halloween tunes.
