Roy Keane's hilarious reaction

Roy Keane left Ian Wright in stitches when he took part in the 'sign this photo' trend for ITV last night.

Prior to England's 2-1 loss to Greece at Wembley Stadium, Keane was approached by ITV to take part in the social media trend which involves asking a celebrity to sign a photo, only for that photo to be an embarrassing image of the celebrity when they were younger.

The picture handed to Keane was that of a fresh-faced youngster holding a Manchester United scarf above his head shortly after signing for the Red Devils in 1993.

Keane immediately turns the picture around and says 'It's shocking' as Wright laughs beside him and says 'Look at your face. Look at your evil eyes.'

Wright also took part in the trend for ITV, but he seemed to be much happier when he was presented with an image of himself with former teammate David Seeman after his Arsenal debut.

While the atmosphere was light-hearted before the game, England's wretched performance left many unimpressed as they lost 2-1 to Greece in a game that they were expected to win.

Speaking after the game, Keane tore into the English performance: "How can this happen? Five or six England players around him, brilliant from the striker, lovely finish, but my goodness someone's got to put a tackle in. If that happened in training you'd stop the session and say, 'are you taking this seriously?'

"The words over the last two months with England - freedom and style and attacking players, freedom is the new buzz word, the new garlic bread! But you still have to do the basics of football. I go back to it in terms of defending properly, and urgency, England didn't seem that urgent.

"Why do England only have urgency when they're 1-0 down?"

Keane was much more complimentary of Ireland's performance last night as Heimir Hallgrimsson's side beat Finland 2-1, saying: “Brilliant result, delighted for them.

“Big lift for the country and they needed that.”
